Not every category or technology is necessarily active on every page or for every visitor. Browser protections and regional settings can affect which technologies are used.
Services That May Use Cookies
Journey by Mediavine and advertising partners
ConcreteCalculate uses Journey by Mediavine to support free website content with advertising. Advertising technology may process browser and device information, ad impressions, interactions, and identifiers for purposes such as ad delivery, reporting, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, ad personalization. The companies involved and technologies used can change depending on the ads shown and your privacy settings.
Google advertising technologies
Google advertising services may be involved in ad delivery and measurement, including through advertising partners. ConcreteCalculate also has a Google AdSense account, but having an account does not mean that AdSense is necessarily serving ads independently on every page. Google’s technologies may use cookies or other identifiers as described in its advertising information.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics may use cookies and other measurement technologies to provide traffic and engagement statistics, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and traffic source. WordPress, website performance, and security
WordPress and supporting website services may use functional technologies for administrator login, security, caching, and site operation. WP Rocket helps optimize site performance; caching alone does not establish that a particular tracking cookie is set for every visitor.
Newsletter forms, external content, and affiliate links
If you use a newsletter signup, the form or associated service (such as Brevo) may process submission data and related technical information. Embedded content and external services may also use their own technologies. Following an affiliate link may allow a merchant or affiliate network to use cookies for referral attribution. We do not publish fixed lifetimes for these examples because providers can change them, and their behavior varies by settings and jurisdiction. The most accurate inventory should be taken from the site’s live cookie scanner or browser storage inspection.
How to Manage Cookies
Use site privacy controls, when available
Depending on your region and the privacy-management tools currently configured on ConcreteCalculate, you may be offered a consent notice or a privacy-choices control. Where available, use that control to review or change the optional categories of cookies and advertising processing.
If no privacy-choices control is visible, this policy page does not itself change cookie settings. You can still use your browser controls and the third-party choices below, or contact us for assistance. We will not describe a nonexistent preference button as though it were operational.
Use browser settings
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site settings.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy, including website data and cross-site tracking controls.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions or Privacy, search, and services.
Browsers generally allow you to block or delete cookies and control third-party tracking. Some essential website functions or saved preferences may be affected if you block or clear cookies.
Advertising and Opt-Out Choices
Advertising partners may use cookies and other identifiers to measure ads or support interest-based advertising where permitted. In some privacy laws, disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising may qualify as a sale or sharing of personal information, even when a website does not sell a customer list for money.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to opt out of certain advertising-related uses or to withdraw consent. These links are additional choices, not substitutes for legally required site-level controls. Browser-level opt-outs and industry tools may be limited to participating companies, browsers, or devices. A request by email is not an instant automated opt-out.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit privacy preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT). Do Calculator Inputs Use Cookies?
Our calculators are designed to help visitors estimate materials, quantities, and costs. Whether a particular calculator uses browser storage, sends information to a server, or offers an optional email-related feature depends on that calculator’s implementation.
We do not assume that every tool works identically or claim that all project measurements remain on your device without auditing the individual tools. Cookies used for advertising or analytics are separate from the numerical formulas that power the calculators.
